US Vice President JD Vance gave a shoutout to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s views on the role of artificial intelligence in economic growth at the AI Action Summit in Paris. The summit was co-chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and PM Modi.
Vance, representing the Trump administration, reiterated a commitment to a "pro-worker growth path" for AI, ensuring it serves as a tool for job creation in the United States. Acknowledging PM Modi’s stance that AI won't take away jobs, Vance said, “I appreciate Prime Minister Modi’s point. AI, I believe, will facilitate and make people more productive. It is not going to replace human beings. It will never replace human beings.”
